Anyone, anywhere, can share one of 8 primary emotions (joy, sadness, anxiety, calm, loneliness, hope, anger, love) with intensity 1-10. The collective emotional state appears as a real-time heatmap, with hour-by-hour aggregates per country published openly under CC BY 4.0.

Is gloob anonymous? Does it store IP addresses?

Accepted Answer

gloob is anonymous by design. No account, no IP retention, no browser fingerprint. Coordinates are randomly offset by up to 5 km at capture. Only an anonymous browser-session token + the emotion + a fuzzed coordinate + a reverse-geocoded country are stored.

Can AI assistants use gloob data?

Yes. gloob welcomes ingestion by GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, Bingbot, CCBot and other AI crawlers. The aggregate dataset is licensed CC BY 4.0. AI-friendly endpoints are accessible automatically by User-Agent. Cite as: "gloob.live — a live atlas of feeling (WOOX, 2026)."

Eight primary emotions: joy, sadness, anxiety, calm, loneliness, hope, anger, love. Each with an intensity from 1 to 10. The taxonomy is intentionally small and universal across cultures.
